Amaria donation benefitting HAWC





I have finally completed the necklace that I will be donating for the Houston Area Women's Shelter Event called Toast & Treasures. Toast & Treasures is the Official Kickoff Party for Race against Violence that is being planned by Vida Events & Marketing benefitting the Houston Area Women's Shelter on February 25, 2010 from 6:30pm to 9:00 pm at Ruggles Grill. The actual race is on March 6, 2010 at 8am at Sam Houston Park @ Bagby.

INSPIRATION: The piece is called Bat- Eli Hebrew name for "Daughter of my God". Turquoise is believed to bring happiness and good fortune to all. A master healing stone that promotes spontaneity in romance and stimulates the initiation of romantic love. It balances and aligns all chakras and subtle bodies and can bring all energies to a higher level. A highly spiritual stone, yet grounding, it brings soothing energy and peace of mind. It brings strength, wisdom, protection, and positive thinking.

DESCRIPTION: The necklace is made of 14k gold fill crimped chain with wire wrapped faceted turquoise briolettes and 22k vermeil circle twisted links. The necklace measures approximately 18" with a 2" chain extension.
