Illustration Friday: Smart

Here is my first submission for Illustration Friday. I did this watercolor painting last year but thought it fit in with the theme of Smart.

All the books were amazing and highly inspirational. I would recommend all these books!

An Artist Talks to God

 

I was listening to a podcast from Craftcast where they interviewed author Sam Bennett. In the interview the author spoke about some poems that she had written on the fly and put away for about a year thinking they were not that good. A year went by and she showed her poems to friends and they absolutely loved it.  With the encouragement of her friends she published them in an ebook called An Artist Talks to God. So the author says that you should always show your art, poems, etc. because what you consider not to be good other people might love. I ended up purchasing the book and absolutely love it! So glad she listened to her friends.
